Lee is head of the firm and the team, he has practiced as a specialist employment Solicitor for 15 years formerly as a Partner with a leading UK law firm advising SME’s to PLCs. Lee has a wealth of experience in successfully helping businesses with all aspects of employment law from the day to day to complex reorganisations, TUPE, senior executive removals and disputes too – Lee is very much a commercial solution focused Solicitor, he aims to solve problems for our clients and provide excellent service too. Lee undertakes his own advocacy and delivers management training workshops and he has particular experience working with clients within the Care, Education, Recruitment and Production/Logistics sectors.

Senior Employment Lawyer

Claudia is a Senior Employment Lawyer with the team at Bridge.  She trained and qualified with a medium sized Commercial Law Firm in Edinburgh where she gained significant experience acting for a variety of clients, ranging from Plc’s to SME’s and family businesses, assisting them on a spectrum of employment issues.  Claudia currently works with the team at BRIDGE providing on-going Employment and HR support to our commercial clients.  This involves advising on disciplinary and grievances, redundancies, and termination of employment and settlement agreements, as well advising on and responding to internal employment disputes and tribunal claims.  Claudia has a particular interest in discrimination work and has recently advised a number of individuals on discrimination claims under the Equality Act. Claudia also has experience of supporting a number of independently owned Dental Practices, supporting practice principals with their HR and Employment issues, ranging from associate and staff contracts, staff handbooks, as well as day to day staff management.  Being a heavily regulated environment, this work has often proven invaluable to ensure that practices are both satisfying their legal obligations as well as complying with the GDC Standards for the Dental Team.

Employment Lawyer

Georgina trained, and qualified, in a large Yorkshire-based commercial law firm where she practised as a solicitor in the employment department for a number of years before deciding to take some time away from law to focus on bringing up her young family. Whilst in practice, Georgina gained experience in a variety of both contentious and non-contentious work as well as carrying out risk and compliance work on behalf of The Law Society.

For the last few years, Georgina has worked for the local authority, supporting the governing bodies of a number of primary and secondary schools in complying with their statutory duties, gaining experience in legal requirements of the education sector. Georgina is developing that experience further with Bridge, who she recently joined, assisting across all areas in the Practice as an Employment Lawer.

HR Consultant

Lyn heads up Lync HR an independent HR consultancy that works with our team on various projects.

Lyn is a highly experienced commercial HR Consultant having worked in industry for many years, she has proven commercial HR experience and is relied upon by MD’s FD’s and HRD’s alike across Yorkshire and further afield.

Lyn provides expert independent support to our clients on various internal investigations, meetings and training and development, where experienced independent support is required, we refer Lyn and Lync to our clients.

Practice Manager/HR Consultant

Claire is a doer and thankfully she is our Practice Manager helping develop our practice and business. Claire also has a wealth of experience leading, managing and developing people.  She is a specialist in Human Resources having excellent generalist HR experience frequently dealing with matters from day to day issues such as disciplinary and grievances from recruitment too dismissal too. Claire has a particular interest in Employee Engagement and Performance Management/Development.  She has experience of range of industries including professional services, engineering and health and social care.  Her credentials include Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), CIPD Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management and she is currently completing her qualifications for Executive Coaching and Mentoring and Coaching Supervision with the Institute of Leadership and Management.
